Here is the invitation to our first birthday party.  Of course, we didn't know it was our birthday and couldn't have cared less, but Mommy had a great time planning the party.  First birthday parties are really for adults, and this one was to celebrate Mommy and Daddy having survived this past year.

Our birthday was on a Wednesday.  That evening we each had our own little individual cupcakes with one candle.  Mommy brought us some presents and we had a great time opening the boxes and playing with them (the boxes, not the toys).   On Saturday May 23rd, we had a little family party with our cousin Niley, who turned 2 that day.  The big party was on  Sunday, May 24th, 1:00-3:00 p.m.  We each had our own individual cakes with our names on them, hats, balloons, and lots of fun.  Okay, as much fun as we could stand before we got tired and sleepy.
